About the role
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and components. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and committed to producing high-quality work. $3.00 an Hour Shift Differential for Second ShiftPay range dependent on experience Key Responsibilities Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and related equipment Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations Calculate dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Align and secure fixtures, tooling, and materials Monitor machine performance and adjust feeds and speeds as required Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards Troubleshoot and diagnose machine malfunctions; perform routine maintenance as needed Deburr and finish completed parts Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Comply with all company safety and environmental policies RequirementsStrong understanding of machining principles, metal properties, and mechanical processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Proficient with precision measuring instruments Solid math skills and technical aptitude High attention to detail and quality standards Strong time management and organizational skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Reliable and safety-conscious What We're Looking For Dependable team player with a strong work ethic Commitment to continuous improvement Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines BenefitsBenefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
