This role leads a distributed team of five account managers (and BDA) across the U.S. while tying in with other regions where continuity and best practice sharing is applicable. It owns the connection between business priorities and commercial activity, making sure the team has the forecasting, tools, and support to win. Intralox is a division of Laitram, L.L.C., with an extensive portfolio of innovative conveyance solutions and services that improve lives and optimize businesses worldwide.
Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop account managers across the U.S. building their ability to manage opportunities and stakeholder relationships independently. Set clear priorities, expectations, and MBOs that connect individual performance to business goals. Lead annual, semi-annual, and quarterly planning translating business priorities into commercial goals for the team. Help develop and review commercial service plans and proposals, pricing models, and program opportunities across regions, to accelerate value creation and drive consistency. Act as an escalation point for key customer and account manager needs, removing roadblocks and driving cross-functional alignment. Own the global commercial services revenue forecast and lead U.S. forecasting for plastics, procurement, Intralox parts, and LCS capacity and coverage. Contribute to high-value contract negotiations with customers and integration partners, mitigating risks and optimizing win/win value. Translate key performance indicators, customer feedback and industry trends into practical improvements to service offerings.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of experience in commercial management, account management, business development, service sales, or another customer-facing business role. 3+ years of experience leading and developing people, including supervising, coaching, and developing a sales or account management team. Experience translating business goals into commercial priorities through business planning, forecasting, and opportunity management. Demonstrated ability to coach others through complex customer opportunities, stakeholder alignment and escalations. Strong communicator who can influence across teams, regions, and levels without direct authority. Sound judgment, collaborative, highly organized, and self-managed. Willingness to travel up to 35% of time.
