About the role
Job Description & Skill Requirement: • Provide engineering support for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging systems. • Evaluate packaging equipment performance and identify opportunities for productivity improvements. • Support packaging line modifications, new packaging equipment installations, and capacity enhancements. • Develop and review equipment specifications, URS documents, and technical bid evaluations. • Coordinate packaging line layouts and equipment integration activities. • Support packaging material and packaging format changeovers. • Work closely with OEMs and vendors during design, installation, and startup phases. • Review utility requirements, line balancing, and machine interfaces. • Support packaging validation, commissioning, and performance qualification. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, ergonomic, and manufacturing standards. Qualification: • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. • 7 to 10 years of experience in packaging engineering within FMCG, Cosmetics, Personal Care, or Consumer Goods industries. • Strong understanding of filling, capping, labelling, cartoning, case packing, and palletizing systems. • Experience with packaging machinery selection and integration. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and packaging line layout development. • Experience working with packaging equipment OEMs. • Knowledge of GMP and packaging quality requirements. • Strong project coordination and communication skills. • Experience supporting brownfield facility modifications preferred. • Ability to work onsite in the USA.
