About the role
Go2 Logistics is a Chicago-based, full-service transportation provider helping companies move freight across North America. With 17 terminals nationwide and a network of company assets, owner-operators, and trusted partner carriers, our team keeps freight moving around the clock. As a Dispatch Coordinator, you’ll be right in the middle of the action, working directly with drivers and our operations team to coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery. You’ll gain hands-on experience in the transportation industry while learning how to manage real-time shipments, communicate with drivers, solve problems, and keep operations running smoothly. This is a fast-paced role where no two days are exactly the same. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like Coordinate and monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery Communicate with drivers regarding load details, appointments, schedules, changes, and delays Track driver progress and provide accurate, timely shipment updates Troubleshoot issues that arise in transit and work quickly to keep loads moving Maintain accurate shipment information and required documentation within company systems Work closely with drivers, sales, and operations while managing multiple priorities
