Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Central TimeBuild a Career in Mineral Acquisitions Liberty Mineral Partners is seeking a motivated Energy Commerce graduate—or business graduate—who wants to build a lucrative career in mineral acquisitions and sales. We are a small mineral and royalty acquisition company with a great culture and a relationship-driven approach to business. You will work directly under a senior acquisitions specialist who will serve as your one-on-one mentor, helping you develop the market knowledge, sales skills, and confidence to succeed.
What You'll Do: Most of your day will be spent on the phone, calling mineral owners from company-provided leads. You will build relationships, understand owners' goals, discuss purchase offers, and follow up consistently to move acquisition opportunities toward closing.
Responsibilities include: Making outbound calls to mineral owners using company-provided leads. Learning about owners' interests and reasons for considering a sale. Communicating purchase offers clearly and professionally. Maintaining accurate records and managing follow-up using our software. Working with your senior mentor to strengthen your market knowledge, sales approach, and negotiation skills. Meeting established activity and sales goals. You are hardworking, eager to learn, coachable, and motivated to take ownership of your results.
Qualifications include: A completed or soon-to-be-completed degree in Energy Commerce, with Texas Tech candidates encouraged to apply. An understanding of oil and gas fundamentals, mineral ownership, and royalty interests. Strong communication skills and comfort spending most of the workday on the phone. Persistence, consistent follow-through, and the ability to handle rejection. Self-motivation, organization, and accountability in a remote environment. A willingness to accept coaching and put feedback into practice. Integrity and a professional, respectful approach to mineral owners.
What We Provide: Base salary plus commission, with first-year on-target earnings of $145,000 for a hardworking, eager-to-learn, coachable specialist who meets performance expectations. Actual earnings depend on results and are not guaranteed. One-on-one mentorship from a senior acquisitions specialist. Company-provided leads to support your outreach.
