Mechanical Assistant
Location: Baltimore, MD Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Position Overview: We are seeking a Mechanical Assistant to support mechanical operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, particularly with engines, turbos, or related mechanical systems. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background who is comfortable working in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities: Assist with mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repairs. Support technicians with engine, turbo, and mechanical system work. Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively. Inspect equipment and components for issues or wear. Follow safety procedures and established work instructions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform other mechanical duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements: Previous mechanical experience required. Experience with engines, turbos, or similar mechanical systems strongly preferred. Manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or heavy equipment experience is a plus. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
