Role: Senior Java Developer with FIX/Market data
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite)12+ months
Required Qualifications: 5-10 years of professional Java development experience Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles Strong experience developing multithreaded and concurrent applications Solid understanding of Java concurrency concepts, including thread safety, synchronization, concurrent collections, executors, and performance considerations Experience working in Linux/Unix environments Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills Experience with Git or equivalent source control systems Must have domain experience: Experience in Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Electronic Trading environments Knowledge of Market Data systems, market structure, and exchange connectivity Experience with FIX Protocol and trading connectivity
