About the Role:
The Company is seeking a VP of Research in Machine Learning to take ownership of the research and intelligence direction of its AI systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining how the AI reasons, evaluates, and improves, with a focus on real-world usefulness, robustness, safety, and long-term behavior. This role involves setting and evolving the research direction for core intelligence, making strategic decisions about model architectures, and guiding the exploration of frontier techniques. The VP of Research will also be instrumental in shaping early product intelligence direction and must have a deep experience in building or evolving real machine learning systems used in production.
