Job Full Description A great company in the Ola area is looking for Header Operators for a fastener manufacturing company. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical experience who enjoys working in a hands-on production environment.

Schedule: There is a $0.50 shift differential for night shift

Friday - Sunday 5:30 AM - 6:00 PMFriday - Sunday 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM Job Duties: Set up and operate cold header machines (single or multi-die) Load wire stock and ensure proper feed into the machine Install and adjust dies, punches, and tooling for each job Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain part quality Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify specifications Perform first-piece and in-process inspections Identify defects and adjust machine settings to reduce scrap Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance when needed Maintain accurate production and quality records Perform routine maintenance and assist with machine changeovers Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Requirements:

Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
Experience with header machines or metal forming equipment is a plus
Ability to read measurements and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good mechanical aptitude
Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand for long periods
Lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in an industrial environment
