Civil or Mechanical Engineering Telecom Co-Op (May - Dec 2027) Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil or Mechanical Engineering Telecom Co-Op (May - Dec 2027). In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers on energy and utility projects. Job Activities: Conceptual through final design and record drawings of utility lines and related facilities Field visits to collect data and evaluate existing, pre-design conditions Construction documents and administration Cost estimating Material specifications General project and office support
Specific Requirements include: Pursuing a BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum Willing to work full-time during the Summer and Winter semesters from May 2027 - December 2027 Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project Excellent Communication skills Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver's license MicroStation or AutoCAD experience or exposure is preferred, but not required * Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance are not available for this position. Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
