About the role

Bus Attendant Instructs, reinforces and supports appropriate bus riding behaviors and may implement specific behavioral modification programs with students, including students from special education programs while they ride the bus to and from school or other district related activities. In order to be considered, applicants must submit the following by the final filing date: Completed Ed-Join Application Minimum qualifications: Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED is required. Previous experience working with children in an unstructured group setting is preferred. Reading and writing skills sufficient to prepare basic reports is required. Satisfactory completion of a ten hour training course for bus attendants within probationary period. Licenses and Certificates: TB Test clearance, Criminal Justice Fingerprint clearance, and valid ARC First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificates. Proof of HS Graduation The District will contribute towards health benefits on a prorated basis (based on employee's work year and hours assigned). The benefit package includes options for medical, dental and vision. Medical plan options include Kaiser, Western Health Advantage and Sutter Health Plus. $9,360 per year for Employee-only medical benefit selection. $11,400 per year for Employee+1 or Family medical benefit selection.
