About the role
Supports revenue cycle vendor oversight by analyzing vendor performance, service level results, issue trends, and operational data for assigned outsourced revenue cycle functions. Partners with Revenue Cycle teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to prepare scorecards, track action items, support issue resolution, and contribute to improvements in cash collections, denials, aging, quality, productivity, and turnaround time. Applies practical revenue cycle knowledge and standard reporting methods to support consistent vendor performance and informed operational decision-making.
Annual Salary Range: $60,736.00 - $97,177.60
Qualifications
Education:
Requires a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Health Information Management, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
Equivalent combination of education and directly related healthcare revenue cycle, vendor oversight, reporting, or financial analysis experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
Requires three (3) or more years of relevant experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, vendor management support, revenue cycle analytics, financial analysis, claims, billing, collections, or related healthcare administrative services.
Requires experience preparing reports, analyzing operational or financial data, tracking issues, and communicating findings to support business decisions.
Requires working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle workflows, vendor performance metrics, service level expectations, and Microsoft Office or similar reporting tools.
Experience with outsourced revenue cycle vendors, business process outsourcing, Epic, dashboards, scorecards, or payer-related performance analysis is preferred.
Experience supporting vendor governance meetings, contract performance reviews, or corrective action tracking is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
HFMA certification preferred.
Epic experience or certification preferred, depending on assigned revenue cycle functions.
Lean, Six Sigma, project management, or process improvement certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of Healthcare Revenue Cycle Operations.
Knowledge of outsourced vendor management principles and monitoring practices.
Knowledge of key performance indicators.
Knowledge of performance reporting, scorecard development, and operational analytics.
