Job Overview: A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Energy & Infrastructure team in Redwood City, CA. The candidate will support project finance and M&A deals in the energy sector, focusing on renewable energy projects.
Duties: Support project finance and M&A transactions in the energy sector. Conduct due diligence and review credit agreements and legal opinions. Engage in transactions involving power generation and transmission. Work with power purchase and interconnection agreements.
Requirements: Minimum of three years of relevant experience. Substantial practice experience before FERC. Direct experience in renewable energy projects. Admitted to the state bar of the preferred office location. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications: State bar admission. Skills Expertise in project finance and M&A deals. Strong due diligence and legal review capabilities. Knowledge of renewable energy, including wind, solar, or battery storage.
