About the role
- Provide virtual sign language interpretation services for students in educational settings
- Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, staff, and other school personnel
- Accurately interpret spoken communication into sign language and signed communication into spoken language
- Support students across a variety of ages and grade levels
- Maintain professional standards of confidentiality and communication
- Collaborate with school staff to support an accessible and inclusive learning environment
- Active Georgia license required
- Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) certification required
- Experience providing interpreting services in a school or educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide reliable virtual services throughout the school day
