My client is a rapidly growing advanced energy and engineering technology company developing next-generation nuclear systems. They are seeking a driven and highly organized Nuclear Project Manager to help lead the execution of our next-generation microreactor development and deployment initiatives!
Role Overview: This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, regulatory affairs, and business strategy, supporting the commercialization of advanced nuclear technologies designed to deliver safe, reliable, carbon-free energy to critical industries worldwide.
What You'll Do: Drive end-to-end execution of reactor development and deployment projects, from engineering and design through licensing, testing, manufacturing, and deployment. Build and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and risk registers. Coordinate across engineering, regulatory, operations, supply chain, legal, and business development teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. Support reactor licensing, product development, testing, and commercialization efforts. Facilitate decision-making, resolve project roadblocks, and proactively manage project risks. Develop executive-level reports and presentations for leadership, investors, strategic partners, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with external vendors, government agencies, and industry partners. Help establish scalable project management processes, tools, and best practices as our client continues to grow.
What We're Looking For: Experience in nuclear energy, aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, or other highly regulated industries. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Project Management, or a related field.5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programs or projects. Strong ability to bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in highly regulated, capital-intensive, or technology-driven industries. Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities in dynamic, fast-changing environments. Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with regulatory approvals, permitting, government engagement, or licensing processes. Based in NYC - 4 days in office, one day remote
