About the role
Shop Welder Landmark is the leading design-build contractor in the elevated water storage tank market and the originator of the Composite Elevated Tank - the predominant design used in the industry. Our highly visible structures are a focal point for many communities across the US and Canada. In addition to water infrastructure, Landmark provides design and construction services for delivery of high-profile projects in the industrial, petrochemical, power, and mining markets. Landmark has an opportunity for a Shop Welder to join our team. This position performs tasks related to welding steel safely, efficiently, and to Landmark's quality standards.
Essential Functions:
- FCAW gas shielded wire flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions
- Arc gouge flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions
- Oxy/acetylene torch work
- Understanding or reading of drawings and/or blueprints
- Non-Essential Functions:
- Overhead cranes and other heavy construction equipment
- Rigging knowledge
- Safe operation of construction tools and equipment
- Grinding and sanding
Qualifications:

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of similar experience of progressive responsibility
- Experience with OSHA and other regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Experience with discipline-specific industry standards (API, ASME, AWWA, NACE, ACI, etc.)Licenses, Certifications, Registrations
- Welder CertificationCPR and First Aid Certification PreferredEOE/AA - M/F/Vet/Disability
