About the role
- Serve as Residency Program Director overseeing all aspects of the PM&R training program
- Provide strategic leadership for curriculum development, accreditation compliance, and program growth
- Mentor and evaluate residents, fostering a culture of academic excellence and professional development
- Collaborate with departmental leadership on faculty development, recruitment, and scholarly activity
- Participate in clinical care, teaching, and research aligned with academic interests
- Ensure full compliance with ACGME requirements and standards
- Lead program evaluation, continuous improvement initiatives, and accreditation readiness
- Oversee resident recruitment, selection, and onboarding
- Develop and enhance didactic curriculum, rotations, and educational innovation
- Promote resident scholarly activity, including research and quality improvement projects
- Maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- MD or DO degree; Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Eligible for or currently holding a faculty appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an academic PM&R role
- Prior experience in graduate medical education leadership (Associate Program Director or Program Director preferred)
- Demonstrated commitment to education, mentorship, and academic medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania About the Department & Institution:
