About the role

Join MECX in a Hands-On HR Support RoleExtend offer letters in Workday. Send background check and drug screening authorization forms. Review completed background check and drug screening results. Set up pre-work screens. Run motor vehicle record checks when needed. Submit IT requests for equipment needed by new hires. Follow up with candidates to ensure they stay on top of required paperwork. Once background and drug screening results return with a "hire" status, complete the hiring process in Workday. Create badges for new hires. Previous experience in human resources, recruiting coordination, onboarding, office administration, or a similar support role is preferred, but not required. Experience supporting new-hire paperwork, background checks, drug screenings, or other pre-employment requirements is preferred. Experience using Workday or another human resources information system is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependability and consistent follow-through. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to handle confidential candidate and employee information appropriately. This is an opportunity to join MECX in a hands-on HR support role that directly contributes to the company's hiring and onboarding experience. The position offers $33 per hour and a full benefits package while providing valuable experience in human resources, recruiting coordination, pre-employment screening, Workday, and employee onboarding. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Employment eligibility will be verified at the time of hire.
