Position: Beverage Production Manager + Warehouse Management
Location: Deep Gap / Boone NC
Job Description:
As the Beverage Production Manager, you will oversee all aspects of beverage production operations, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality standards are consistently met. You will lead a team of production staff, manage production schedules, and collaborate closely with other departments to optimize workflow and meet company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the beverage production facility, including planning, scheduling, and production activities.
Supervise and train production staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and production standards.
Develop and implement production plans to achieve production targets while maintaining product quality.
Monitor production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to meet food safety and product quality standards.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Maintain production records and reports for management review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Fermentation Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in beverage production management or a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Solid understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and food safety standards (e.g., FDA, GMP).
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and production management software.
