About the role

Job TitleThe key things we are looking for are: Hunting experience candidates must have experience breaking into new logos cold accounts that are aware of TCS but DO NOT have any previous MSAs or relationships with TCS. They need to have a history of successfully breaking into new, large-cap O&G companies. You should be able to screen for candidates who have "new logo," "new client acquisition," or "market entry" achievements specifically within the O&G sector on their resume. Their network in the Houston and Dallas energy corridors must be strong. Must have knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry selling into clients specifically into Oil & GasMust be selling IT services (not Products, Software, hardware etc): They must have a proven track record of selling IT services, managed services, or consulting projects. We need to see experience with multi-year, complex deals. Candidates with backgrounds from our direct competitors (Client, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, etc.) in a hunter role would be a good fit. Resilience and a "Hunter" Mentality: This is not an account management role. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on the challenge of cold outreach, building relationships from the ground up, and navigating complex enterprise buying cycles over 12-24 months. Their compensation history should reflect a significant portion of variable pay based on performance. C-Level Presence and Consultative Skills: The candidate must be able to hold their own with C-suite executives at target companies, understand business challenges, and articulate the value of TCS's solutions without relying on a product demo. Deal Sizes handled should be in 10M to $50M+ range (candidates handling deals that are smaller will not be a good fit) Stability throughout career we should not consider candidates that are hopping jobs every few years
