Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team in Connersville, IN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our facility. Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and supplies.
Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
Prepare materials for production by picking, packing, and staging them as needed.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely material flow and production schedules.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations is a plus.
Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
Basic computer skills for inventory management.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to safety and a positive work environment.
