About the role
- Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with daily HR operations
- Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR documentation
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new-hire paperwork
- Support I-9 verification, employment documentation, and personnel file maintenance
- Assist with scheduling interviews, orientations, and employee meetings
- Respond to employee questions and direct HR-related inquiries to the appropriate team member
- Enter and update employee information in HRIS and other internal systems
- Assist with benefits administration, payroll documentation, and timekeeping as needed
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other HR documents
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- 1+ year of administrative or HR support experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Experience with an HRIS or employee database preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional HR education or experience preferred
