About the role
To support personalized learning, the part-time Remote Middle School Math Tutor will deliver one-on-one online math lessons to students in Grades 5-8, focusing on engagement and understanding while preparing tailored lesson content.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one online math lessons aligned with the Common Core State Standards
Utilize interactive teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding
Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student improvement
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Math, Education, or related fields
Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred
Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends in US time zones
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred
