About the role
Innovative Driven is currently seeking a dynamic attorney with at least two years of corporate/business law experience to join the collaborative and inclusive team at a highly-respected, full-service law firm client based in Cleveland, Ohio. This firm is in growth mode, and the role will be a split of complex transactional matters and commercial real estate. It is the perfect opportunity for a candidate who wants to do complex transactional work at a collaborative and congenial firm, without being siloed into a specific practice group! The role will be onsite to begin, but the firm allows a generous hybrid/remote flexibility once the attorney is fully up to speed with his/her practice! Additionally, the firm has highly reasonable billable hour expectations. Bonus eligibility begins when reaching 1500 billable hours!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Negotiate, draft, and edit business contracts and agreements
Manage client files and corporate records, including organizational documents, resolutions, and minutes
Facilitate data rooms for transactional and M&A matters
Prepare and record deeds for commercial property transactions
Create and maintain lease abstracts
Complete annual report filings with various states, ensuring ongoing compliance requirements
Conduct due diligence for transactional and commercial real estate deals
Collaborate with senior attorneysREQUIREMENTS:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active Admission to practice law in Ohio
At least 2 years of corporate/business law experience from within a law firm
Experience with all Microsoft Office and 365 and Outlook The firm offers a highly competitive salary and performance-based bonuses!
