Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. Bechtel will design and build Phase 1 of the Ohio One project, a total of 2.5 million square feet, including 600,000 square feet of cleanrooms. Construction will require as much steel as eight Eiffel Towers and as much concrete as the tallest skyscrapers.Bechtel will strengthen future economic development in the region by partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline.Job Summary:
Works closely with the Field Engineering Team, Supervision, Project Controls, and the Automation Team to assist with the organization, input, and distribution of data relating to quantity and scheduling within the project tracking tools (Xfighter Suite, Setroute, Teamworks). Assist in the printing, organization, and distribution of Stickers, signage, and labeling as required per site specifications.Performs a broad range of administrative responsibilities requiring accuracy, sound judgment, initiative, discretion, and knowledge of protocol. Assist project field engineer with reports, presentations, and other administrative tasks. #LI-CL1Major Responsibilities:Work with Supervision on data entry into Xfighter Suite (Pipe Fighter, Cornerstone, Steel Slayer, ArcStryker)Pull quantity reports for field engineering, supervision, and area managementWork with Field Engineers and AWP on the printing and organization of permanent plant stickers and labelsMeet regularly with Project Field Engineer to stay informed of key issues and coordinate workload priorities.Coordinate requests from clients, managers, and in-house staff, determining action on important or emergency matters or directing them to the necessary contact in absence of Project Field Engineer.Manage expense reports through Concur.Create, organize, and distribute presentations or materials needed for meetings.Compose routine correspondence for appropriate signature.Assist with internal moves and space changes.Maintain a hard copy or electronic calendar for project field engineer.Independently schedule and reschedule appointments based on PFE's commitments and priorities providing adequate detail to individual items.Education and Experience Requirements:Requires 2-4 years of related experienceRequired Knowledge and Skills:Familiarity with Xfighter Suite and TeamworksIntermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suites. A skills test may be administered to determine proficiency.Working knowledge of SharePointWorking knowledge of VisioWorking knowledge of TeamsWorking knowledge of ConcurExcellent oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills with attention to detailExperience interfacing with management and customersAble to handle confidential informationWorking knowledge of Aconex or other electronic document management systemMust be able to work independentlyAbility to work overtime on short notice as requiredTotal Rewards/Benefits:
