PROMAN Staffing is proud to partner with our national packaging manufacturing client to source and hire a Converting Manager to join their team. This is an excellent DIRECT HIRE opportunity for an experienced packaging professional to lead converting operations, drive production efficiencies, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop converting teams across die-cutting, windowing, and folder-gluer operations. Ensure quality standards are met through inspections, audits, and process controls. Optimize machine performance, reduce waste, and improve production throughput. Coordinate production schedules with printing and shipping departments to meet customer deadlines. Troubleshoot equipment and production issues while maintaining a safe, OSHA-compliant workplace. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across converting operations.
Qualifications: 5+ years of production leadership experience in folding carton, packaging, or paperboard manufacturing. Strong knowledge of converting equipment, including die-cutters, folder-gluers, and related finishing equipment. Proven ability to lead teams, improve productivity, and maintain quality standards. Experience troubleshooting mechanical and production issues in a manufacturing environment. Basic proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
