About the role
HR Manager The HR Manager supports Christian Healthcare Ministries' mission by leading the day-to-day execution of Human Resources programs while helping advance the Ministry's people strategy. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, compliance, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. In partnership with the Director of Human Resources, the HR Manager helps build leadership capability, strengthen workplace culture, and develop scalable HR practices that support CHM's continued growth and ministry objectives.• Partner with managers and leaders to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, corrective action, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.• Lead the administration and continuous improvement of core HR programs, including employee relations, leave management, benefits administration, performance management, employee engagement, and onboarding.• Conduct and support employee investigations, documentation reviews, and workplace issue resolution, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant practices.• Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that support organizational goals and operational effectiveness.• Partner with the Director of Human Resources on workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, leadership development, and retention initiatives.• Support recruiting and hiring efforts through effective job design, selection practices, onboarding, and collaboration with hiring managers.• Monitor compliance with employment laws and HR best practices, identifying risks and recommending appropriate action when needed.• Analyze HR metrics, workforce trends, and organizational needs to identify opportunities for improvement and support informed decision-making.• Lead HR projects, process improvements, and system initiatives that improve efficiency, employee experience, and organizational scalability.• Provide leadership and mentorship within the HR function while serving as a key resource and escalation point for complex employee matters.• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of HR.
