About the role

Classic Systems, an industry leader in the integration and implementation of low-voltage systems for the construction market throughout the New York metropolitan area, is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support our team based in our Westbury, NY office.
Position Overview: In this role, you will provide additional day-to-day administrative support to our office staff and help keep office operations organized, responsive, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities: ·        Support the office staff with administrative and clerical tasks·        Assist the accounting team with accounts receivable collections·        Perform data entry, filing, reception, and customer service duties·        Assist project managers with equipment releases for projects·        Prepare and maintain documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations·        Respond professionally to telephone calls and customer inquiries Qualifications·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point·        Above-average Excel skills are required, including the ability to create macros, manipulate data, build formulas, and develop spreadsheets·        Strong organizational, data-entry, filing, and general office skills·        Professional customer service and telephone communication skills·        Ability to work well with others and perform effectively under pressure Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday.
