About the role
We are seeking a Full-Time Day Program Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide supervision, instruction, and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in structured day and community-based settings.
Key responsibilities include:
supervising participants according to individual service plans, engaging them in activities such as fitness, outdoor recreation, domestic skills, and community outings, ensuring safety and dignity, maintaining staff-to-participant ratios, transporting individuals safely, and assisting with hygiene and behavioral management.
Qualifications and skills:
high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license with insurable record, reliable transportation, ability to operate electronic documentation systems, and physical capability to assist participants, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Experience with behavioral support, working with DD/ID individuals, or in similar settings is preferred.
