About the role
Job Summary:
In support of a busy pediatric surgery group at Woman's Hospital of Texas. Position open to established PAs or new graduates interested in the pediatric surgery service line.
Responsibilities:
Rounding on patients Seeing consults & newborn circumcisions in the hospital First assisting in the operating room Seeing new/established/post‐operative patients on clinic days Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm schedule Call approximately 6 weeknights a month and every 5th weekend Will cover Woman's Hospital of Texas, HCA Houston Clear Lake & satellite locations Qualifications Certification as a Physician Assistant Ability to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical license New grad PA's will be considered – must have strong pediatric surgery experience or passion for pediatric surgery Must be people‐oriented and willing to learn Benefits Paid malpractice Coverage for medical, behavioral health, prescription drugs, dental and vision Wellbeing resources, including free counseling Life insurance 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions Time off, including disability coverage Supplemental health protection plans Flexible spending accounts Financial wellbeing resources Family‐focused and voluntary benefits
