Responsibilities: Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and observationsComplete Job Safety Observations and required safety documentationIdentify jobsite hazards and implement corrective actionsMonitor compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirementsSupport safe execution of work involving ladders, lifts, pathways, and active construction environmentsConduct new-hire and site safety orientationsSupport toolbox talks and safety trainingParticipate in job planning and site coordination meetingsAssist with incident and near-miss investigationsMaintain accurate safety reports and recordsCommunicate safety concerns and trends to project leadershipPromote a proactive safety culture across field teamsWork closely with subcontractors, field personnel, and project leadership to ensure safety requirements are followedThe Site Safety Representative must meet at least one of the following qualifications: Degree Safety Professional with 12–15 years of construction experienceCertified Safety Professional (CSP) recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, with at least 2 years of relevant construction experienceCompletion of the OSHA 500 Basic Instructor Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry, along with at least 10 years of full-time safety experience in the construction industryRequirementsStrong understanding of OSHA and construction safety practicesDemonstrated experience working in commercial construction environmentsAbility to identify hazards and address unsafe conditions in real timeStrong communication, leadership, and documentation skillsExperience conducting safety inspections, orientations, toolbox talks, and safety observationsAbility to investigate and document incidents and near missesComfortable working around ladders, lifts, pathways, and active construction environmentsMust meet at least one of the Site Safety Representative qualification requirements listed aboveFirst Aid / CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 daysOSHA 30 preferredSTSC or equivalent safety certification preferredLow voltage, structured cabling, or data center experience is a plus
