The EMS Dispatcher will be responsible for tasks including, but not limited to: Answering inbound calls promptly and politely Listening to the caller and determining what type of assistance they require Directing crew movement and allocation of emergency resources based on system status management Scheduling non-emergency transports and courtesy shuttle appointments Thorough documentation of each incident Preparation of daily run reports
Requirements: Valid Drivers License High School Diploma or G.E.D.Act 33, 34, and 73 clearances
Preferred: PA Certified EMT or Nationally Registered EMT with ability to become PA CertifiedAHA BLS for the Healthcare Provider (or equivalent)EVOC/EVDTAt least 2 years EMS experienceICS 100, 200, 700, 800 Certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher
