Job Overview: EXPERIENCE 12-14 Years LOCATION Dearborn JOB ID 82776 NO OF OPENING 1 Job/Position Summary
Responsibilities: Product Ownership Act as a Product Owner (as applicable) to define, prioritize, and manage system features and backlog. Ensure alignment between customer expectations and engineering deliverables. Strong understanding of the automotive domain relevant to the project (e.g., ADAS, Chassis, Restraints, Upfitter, Trailer Tow, TPMS etc). Analyze and interpret customer needs and translate them into actionable system requirements. Subsystem & Feature Analysis: Understand subsystem features, functionalities, and behavior. Ensure proper decomposition of system requirements into subsystem-level requirements. Interface Management: Understand and manage interfaces between different features and subsystems. Ensure compatibility and integration across systems. Develop and maintain system requirements, boundary diagrams, and capability definitions. Support system architecture definition and validation. Work with MagicDraw (or equivalent MBSE tools, SysMLv2) for system modeling and documentation. Agile Execution: Plan, track, and execute work based on Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe). Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Other subsystems like Body, Lighting, Powertrain, Vehicle Access etc). Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers and internal leadership.
Requirements
Required Skills: Strong understanding of System Engineering principles Experience in automotive domain (preferably ADAS and Chassis systems) Hands-on experience with MagicDraw or similar MBSE tools on SysMLv2 Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe) Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills: Exposure to system integration and validation processes Understanding of end-to-end vehicle systems and architecture
