Position Overview: We are actively recruiting a General Cardiologist to expand our practice. This full-time role operates on a standard Monday through Friday schedule, comprising 36 patient contact hours per week. We are looking for a dedicated, skillful physician focused on general cardiology who can leverage a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care to cultivate a successful practice.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive cardiology services through both outpatient and inpatient consultations, including diagnostic assessments and follow-up management. Manage a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, ensuring evidence-based practice and state-of-the-art treatment options. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Conduct and interpret various diagnostic tests, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and exercise stress tests, and utilize findings in clinical decision-making. Engage in shared clinical decision-making and treatment planning with peers and specialists. Utilize our fully integrated EPIC/EHR system for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. Participate in a 1:5 on-call rotation to provide timely patient care. Lead patient education initiatives focused on cardiovascular health, risk assessment, and preventive strategies. Explore opportunities in specialized areas such as cardiac MRI and nuclear medicine (while these are preferred, they are not obligatory).Commit to ongoing professional development through CME activities and continuous learning.
Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Current New Hampshire medical license. Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology. Demonstrated proficiency in general cardiology with strong clinical acumen. Experience in cardiac MRI and/or nuclear medicine is preferred, although not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with mentorship opportunities available. Proven ability to function independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
