Essential Functions:
  • Enthusiastically greets every guest with a smile and positive attitude
  • Takes guests' orders using the Velvet Taco steps of service
  • Ensures dine-in, to-go and call-in orders are properly rung up in the POSHandles all cash, credit card and gift card transactions
  • Checks identification before serving alcohol according to state law
  • Maintains a clean, sanitized service area
  • Has full knowledge of all food & beverage menu items
  • Maintains a driven, intense pace with good cleaning habits throughout shift
  • Other functions as assigned by management

Additional Requirements:

  • Food handlers certification/alcoholic beverage service certification (TABC/BASSET)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
