About the role
- Perform calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of specialized electronic and electrical equipment.
- Set up and operate electronic test and measurement equipment.
- Verify equipment performance against established specifications and procedures.
- Diagnose electronic and electrical issues and determine appropriate corrective action.
- Perform basic electronic repair, component replacement, and soldering as needed.
- Work with test equipment including:
- Digital multimeters
- OscilloscopesPower supplies
- Electronic test instruments
- Measurement and calibration equipment
- Accurately document test results, calibration data, repairs, and work performed.
- Review questionable or unusual test results with laboratory leadership.
- Follow written procedures, specifications, schematics, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain accurate records supporting calibration and measurement traceability.
- Help maintain laboratory equipment and organized work areas.
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other technical personnel.
