Job Title: Data & AI Architect
Location: Rosemont, IL (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Summary:
Join a leading regional food processing solutions provider as a Data & AI Architect, where you will play a pivotal role in building and governing enterprise data and AI capabilities.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data architecture Strong hands-on skills with SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipelines Proven experience designing modern cloud-based data platforms and integrating multiple ERP systems Expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including semantic modeling and enterprise deployment Practical knowledge of Python, APIs, and AI solutions such as large language models and generative AI Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical teams and senior business leaders Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
Responsibilities:
Design and develop the enterprise data platform, integrating data from diverse sources Establish scalable data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions Support AI initiatives, including discovery, prototyping, architecture, deployment, and maintenance of AI-enabled solutions Develop or guide generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and automation solutions Collaborate with stakeholders across cybersecurity, legal, and business units to ensure responsible AI deployment Conduct workshops, develop training materials, and foster a community of AI champions within the organization Monitor AI solution performance, reliability, and compliance, implementing corrective actions as needed Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities and translate them into practical data and AI solutions #DICE #ZR-PRO
