Job Description: Now Hiring – Mechanic Helper | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | $15.00-$17.00/hr Position: Mechanic Helper
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, with overtime as needed
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Duties: Safely dismantle and extract machinery components such as engines, transmissions, and motors using specialized tools. Identify, label, clean, and inspect parts for quality and determine whether they are suitable for resale, repair, or recycling. Drain and properly dispose of hazardous fluids, including oil, coolant, and fuel, following environmental regulations. Assist with handling and processing recyclable materials and equipment components. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
Requirements: Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Experience using hand and power tools preferred. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials as needed. Dependable attendance and reliable transportation. Previous mechanical, automotive, warehouse, or recycling experience is a plus.
