Certified Nurse Midwife, New Birth Center, Southwest Arizona Join a new freestanding birth center focused on low intervention, patient centered care in Southwest Arizona. Position Highlights Full Scope Midwifery: Provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and well woman care. Birth Center Care: Attend deliveries in a home like, family centered birth center setting. Surgical Support: Assist during C sections. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with consulting OB/GYNs. Hospital Partnership: Utilize a local hospital partnership for seamless transfers when needed.
Call Schedule: Manageable call schedule designed to support flexibility.

Candidate Requirements: Current RN and APN licensure Graduate degree from a program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education 2 years of full scope or inpatient nurse midwifery experience within the last 3 years Live & Work in Southwest Arizona Enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine each year and mild winters. The Colorado River, desert trails, and off roading are all close by for easy access to outdoor recreation.
