About the role

Big Sky Home Furnishings is the retail storefront for Big Sky Home Interiors, a premier interiordesign studio led by Jodee March, ASID, serving Big Sky and Bozeman for over 10 years. Ourshowroom in Meadow Village Center offers a curated selection of furniture, décor, and homegoods that complement our full-service design practice. We're hiring a Store Manager to run day-to-day operations of the showroom, deliverexceptional client experiences, and help grow the retail side of the business in close partnershipwith our design studio.
What you'll do: Open, close, and manage the showroom 4–5 days per week (store hours 10–5, openyear-round)Welcome clients, guide them through the showroom, and connect them with our designteam when appropriate Manage inventory, merchandising, pricing, and POS operations Receive shipments, unpack and stage product, and refresh displays to keep theshowroom looking its best Hang artwork, restage vignettes, and assist with seasonal floor resets Partner with Jodee and the design team on client orders, special requests, andshowroom curation Handle vendor communication and basic administrative tasks
What we're looking for: Retail and/or management experience (home furnishings, design showroom, or specialtyretail is a plus)Strong computer skills (POS, email, basic spreadsheets)Excellent social skills and genuine warmth with clients Reliability — this is non-negotiable for a small team Ability to work independently once trained Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders to hang artA valid driver's license and the ability to commute to Big Sky daily if you don't live here
