About the role
Class A Roll-Off Truck DriverThe Class A roll-off truck driver position is responsible for roll-off collection services to ensure that various materials are transported and disposed of in an appropriate manner. Operates heavy duty commercial trucks, tractor-trailers, and roll-offs Performs required pre-trip & post trip inspections and provides required reports Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations Maintains all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs Maintains and protects all property Informs on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehicles Maintains various records and/or logs as needed per DOT regulations Fuels truck at the end of each workday Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Have a valid Minnesota CDL Class A or B driver's licenseAbility to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card and licenseAbility to lift up 40 pounds
- Driver must be 21 years old per DOT.Education and/or experience:
- High school diploma or GEDMust have a clean driving record
- Work Conditions: Outdoor environment; exposure to extreme weather conditions; work with and around heavy trucks and machinery; exposure to dust and fumes from motorized equipment; exposure to noise, odors and gases; exposure to heavy traffic conditions
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
