About the role

Patient Coordinator The Patient Coordinator is responsible for any and all of the following functions related to the patient visit: tracking, documenting and obtaining insurance verification, benefits, authorization and/or referrals, eFax and records, abstracting charts and CalOptima billing.
Pay Range: Minimum $23.08 Midpoint $30.59 Maximum $38.09 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements. Shift Information: This position is located in Laguna Hills, CA. This is a part time benefitted position, 32 hours a week (4-8hr shifts).
Experience
Required: Minimum three (3) months of experience in an office or medical practice setting including clerical or front office experience which may include handling insurance verifications, authorizations and eFax/records.
Preferred: One (1) to two (2) years administrative or clerical experience in the medical field. Experience with medical authorization process and payors.
Education
Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent. Training:

Licensure
