Job Overview: Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital, a specialty and emergency referral facility with locations in Akron and Highland Heights, Ohio, is recruiting a Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join our team and help build our Anesthesia Department.
Responsibilities: Work with a progressive and experienced group of doctors who value high‑quality medicine. Collaborate with nursing staff that provides exceptional patient care, including several VTS.Partner with specialists in Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Exotics, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, and Ophthalmology. Support our team based on compassion, communication, and teamwork. Help build the Anesthesia service and practice medicine with unlimited resources and support. Facility Highlights: Spacious 24,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with a state‑of‑the‑art ICU, 2 digital radiography units, ultrasound, CT, MRI, laparoscopy, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, telemetry, and a complete in‑house laboratory. Highland Heights location: 30,000 sq. ft. facility with a state‑of‑the‑art ICU, private isolation suites, 2 digital radiography units, ultrasound, CT, MRI, laparoscopy, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, mechanical ventilation, telemetry, and a complete in‑house laboratory.
