Occupational Therapy Assistant Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type:
Full Time / Contract The Occupational Therapy Assistant delivers school-based services for Elgin ISD students, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success, maintain required documentation, participate in ARD/IEP processes where applicable, and comply with district, state, and federal requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver OT interventions under OT supervision.
Document therapy sessions.
Assist with treatment planning.
Prepare therapy materials.
Support classroom strategies.
Collaborate with staff.
Maintain records.
Ensure student safety.
Follow supervision requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Certifications Associate degree and active Texas OTA license.
Preferred Qualifications:
School experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills.
Experience with pediatric populations.
