We are seeking a Pricing Manager to support strategic decision-making, shape pricing direction across several diverse markets, and drive meaningful business results through data-driven leadership. The ideal candidate has experience leveraging data-driven insights to evaluate market conditions, customer demand, product cost, competitive positioning, and regional dynamics to make informed pricing recommendations on a large volume of product SKU's. This role serves as a key business partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership and plays a critical role in improving pricing governance, enhancing reporting capabilities, and developing scalable processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain pricing strategies that support revenue growth, margin expansion, and long-term profitability.
Analyze product, customer, and market profitability to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.
Evaluate pricing performance and recommend adjustments based on market conditions, business objectives, and financial results.
Partner with commercial teams to support customer pricing, contract negotiations, and strategic account initiatives.
Lead pricing reviews and provide recommendations that balance competitiveness with profitability goals.
Develop and manage regional pricing strategies that account for geographic market conditions, competitive activity, freight considerations, cost variations, and customer demand.
Design and maintain pricing, sales, margin, and market performance dashboards.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to business leaders through data analysis and reporting.
Develop reporting tools that improve visibility into pricing effectiveness, market performance, and profitability drivers.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve reporting efficiency through technology and analytics tools including AI.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Accounting, or related field.5+ years of progressive experience in pricing and commercial strategy in manufacturing, industrial, building products, or distribution.
Experience managing regional pricing strategies across multiple markets or territories is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience developing pricing recommendations using financial, market, and competitive analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business decisions.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience working with large datasets.
Experience with AI, Power BI, ERP systems, CRM platforms, and business intelligence tools.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
Strong communication and presentation skills with experience supporting senior leadership decision-making.
