About the role
- Safely drive vehicles on and off multi-level railcars
- Move vehicles to assigned staging and parking areas
- Help open and close railcar end doors
- Raise and lower railcar decks as required
- Position bridge plates and adjustable ramps
- Remove and properly store vehicle securement devices used during rail transportation
- Follow assigned routes, customer procedures, and damage-prevention standards
- Immediately report vehicle damage, equipment concerns, or unsafe conditions
- Follow all company, customer, and railroad safety procedures
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to safely operate a variety of passenger vehicles
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to follow detailed driving, loading, and safety instructions
- Comfortable working outdoors around moving vehicles and active rail equipment
- Safety-focused attitude and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
