Salary Range: $20.00 to $25.00 an hour By adhering to Connecticut State Law, pay ranges are posted. The pay rate will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge of position and comparison to others who are already in this role within the company. PACT MSO has a a busy Gastroenterology Group seeking a Scheduler III. The position is primarily located in Hamden office with travel to Milford, Guilford, and Bridgeport office locations as needed. This is a full time position scheduled Monday through Friday. Schedule patient’s procedures, surgeries, or appointments. Obtain demographic information and history that will allow appointments to be booked appropriately, and schedule appointments according to provider guidelines. Set up insurance information Accommodates patient preference within the specified time frame and guidelines of the procedure order. Follows facility exclusion criteria and scheduling guidelines while scheduling. Responsible to consistently provide culturally sensitive service to all patients and coworkers. Responsible to maintain full and efficient schedules and to identify changes in scheduling patterns and report to management. Maintains confidentiality of all medical, financial, or other sensitive materials and information in verbal, electronic or printed form. Competently explains pre-procedure instructions to patient and significant other or guardian.
