About the role
Distribution & Production Specialist2nd shift opportunity in the Walterboro, SC area to support warehouse distribution and production operations. In this hands-on role, you will receive materials, prepare customer shipments, and assist with chemical repackaging, blending, and mixing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable working around chemicals and heavy equipment. Join a privately held, well-established specialty chemical additives manufacturer with a collaborative, customer-focused culture on 2nd shift (Mon–Thurs, 7:00pm–7:00am)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED2–5 years of manufacturing and production experienceForklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification) Strong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds; regular standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reachingComfortable working around chemicals, loud equipment, and outdoor weather during shipping and receiving, using proper PPEBasic computer skills a plusResponsibilitiesPerform chemical production, including repackaging, relabeling, blending, and mixingOperate production equipment and material-handling machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts) safely and efficientlyUnload inbound shipments, verify materials against shipping documents, and inspect for damageMaintain accurate production and inventory recordsFollow all safety policies and PPE requirements; report incidents, hazards, and near misses immediatelySupport ISO standards and quality proceduresKeep the work area clean, organized, and safePerceptive Recruiting, LLC, headquartered in Greenville, SC, has 27 years of technology recruitment experience.
