Paramedic/Firefighter-Cadet The Charter Township of Redford and the Redford Township Police and Fire Civil Service Commission are accepting applications for the position of Paramedic/Firefighter-Cadet for the purpose of establishing an eligibility list. A Paramedic/Firefighter-Cadet candidate shall be compensated at 90% of the entry firefighter established wage scale, until the state of Michigan Firefighter I and II certificates are obtained.
Salary: $53,146/year. Only completed applications including copies of the following will be considered: State of Michigan Paramedic Certification or National Registry-Paramedic American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (BLS and ACLS)
Certifications: Certificate for Conference of Western Wayne (CWW) Firefighter's Testing Program CPAT Certification. Applications may be obtained at the personnel office at Redford Township Hall between the hours of 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, or downloaded from our website the form attached to this posting. Employee will attend Fire Academy or work Rescue as a Paramedic until Firefighter I and II certification obtained.
