About the role

As a Principal Sales Representative here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share for Honeywell Aerospace. This specific role is as a Technical Sales Manager (TSM) within the Defense and Space (D&S) organization. Your responsibilities will include providing support to the D&S team, including customer sales managers, business development, and proposal operations. D&S TSMs develops product sales strategies and technical responses, to include coordinating proposal and information responses with other functional support departments, developing and presenting technical briefings and product training presentations, and maintaining full technical cognizance over the specific technologies and products covered. This role will directly support all D&S business opportunities involving the Control Systems product portfolio of Honeywell Aerospace, including wheels and brakes, air and thermal solutions, and other mechanical systems. Leadership and the ability to work within a diverse team are skills needed to develop and execute strategic sales plans, and build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Your expertise in sales, leadership, and strategic thinking will directly impact the company's sales performance and overall business success.You will report directly to the D&S Sales Operation's team and work out of a local Honeywell Aerospace site, such as Tempe, AZ or Aguadilla, PR location, and/or remote.In this role, you will impact the company significantly by leading and managing a technical support for key pursuits to drive revenue growth and expand market share, contributing to Honeywell Aerospace's financial success and market leadership. Your ability to build strong relationships with key customers and identify new business opportunities will position the company as a leader in the aerospace industry.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop, lead, and support key business opportunitiesDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market shareBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, understanding their needs and aligning our solutions to meet their requirementsAnalyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities and drive continuous improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding, implementation, and supportYou Must HaveMinimum of 6 years of experience in sales, preferably in a leadership roleProven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growthStrong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and contribute to a sales team pursuit of opportunitiesExpertise in strategic sales planning and execution, market analysis, and customer relationship managementExperience in the aerospace industry or related technical sales environment is highly desirableWe ValueBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related fieldMaster's degree in engineering, Marketing or Business Administration is a plusPassion for sales and achieving results with a strategic mindsetStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamStrong business acumen and understanding of market dynamicsContinuous learning and adaptability to changing market conditionsThe annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $166,000-208,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $192,000-240,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
